Hey guys! Today I’ll teach you how to create a quick and easy angel ornament. Let’s get started.
You’ll need a 3/4 inch or 1 inch bead, some sewing thread, 6 inches of 9mm string, 10 inches of 3mm string, and a gold ring that is 3 inches in diameter. Cut a piece of thread that is 2 ft long, fold it in half and attach it to the top of your ring using a Cow Hitch Knot. Add your bead using a tapestry needle. Fold the 9mm string in half and attach it underneath the bead by separating the two strands of thread and tying a double knot underneath the string. Use a comb to brush out the string.
Cut another piece of sewing thread that is about 10 inches long to tie around the string to create the body of the angel. Trim the bottom of the string so that it sits inside of the ring. Separate it out a bit so that it creates the angel’s dress.
The last step is to add the angels wings. Flip your work so that the back is facing forward, grab your 3mm string and tie a bow knot around the 9mm string. Flip your work back to the front and adjust the string as needed.
