this is a 9 volt extender pigtail that I made for the battery backup on my alarm clock for when the power goes out. It is made from two 9v battery tops, some wire, hot glue and a soldering iron. you can get the tops from dead 9 volt batteries just be careful opening them. the cardboard ones are better but the new plastic ones will also work but will melt easier so be careful. I wired one side in reverse because this is extending a 9 volt source. I know you can just use a regular 9v battery in the alarm clock but you only get about 8 hours out of one 9v battery so I am using a 9v 6AA battery holder with 9v snap in so maybe its 800 hours of backup. well I hope you like this video. thanks for watching, subscribe if you like my content and stay tuned for more.
