Great day for railroading! Today was another good day for the Disneyland Railroad with Fred Gurley taking the place of Ward Kimball in front of Holiday 4 Green. By about 10 in the morning Ernest S. Marsh rolled out with Excursion 3. C.K. Holliday is still in the far left berth with Holiday 2 Red and Ward is keeping Holiday 5 Blue company (in addition to E.P. Ripley, quietly waiting for her chance to return to work). I've also included a brief clip of Mark Twain's paddle churning around in the Rivers America. The moment I put my telephone away Ernest came by on the trestle bridge; talk about irony!
A little note; if you are going to the Parks anytime soon, be sure to wear your walking shoes. Since the trams are out of service, you best be prepared to add an additional mile or more to your visit because the tram route is longer on foot than it is by vehicle.
