Here is a narrow gauge railway of Britain with as much charm and originality as they come: the Isle of Man Railway. The IMR is a 3 foot gauge line (something for the Disneyland Railroad, Walt Disney World Railroad, or Euro Disneyland Railroad in Paris could take note of in the event they would care to have a visiting engine) on the Isle of Man in-between Ireland and Wales/Scotland/England. All engines on the line were provided by Beyer, Peacock and Company between 1873 and 1926, each of which were of the 2-4-0T configuration (there are exceptions to that but very rarely do they delineate from the standard design of the IMR). What is unique and highly noteworthy, much like the Talyllyn Railway, is the near complete retention of the original rolling stock and locomotive power for the line, not to mention almost the entire railway line and operations being exactly the same as they were in the Victorian era.
