Damn I've got a lot to talk about now lol.
So, yes, if it isn't clear yet, dismay is my next main solo level that I'll release. I started the decoration process shortly after BLRPL LGHTS was released, but it took a month or two for me to get something I was actually proud of.
Now I know that only the predrop is finished (which tbf is nearly half the level), and that is because of a few reasons. I've had a lot of schoolwork to do during spring semester, which drained my power considerably, and I had to help my mother move houses during the summer, which was also pretty taxing. Though the main reason is my mental health, which has been more unstable than ever this year. I'm not going crazy or whatever, but it has been rough often.
But now I do actually feel better, and my mother has successfully moved and is selling the old house. While school is coming up, autumn semesters are usually not as bad as the spring ones for me, so hopefully I can keep working a lot more on this :)
Now for the level itself. I'm so far extremely proud of what I've made for the predrop, starting off really dark and eventually getting blindingly bright right at the drop. If you've got any feedback though I am willing to improve it further.
For the drop I plan on incorperating purple and not just blue, and I plan on making more effects and moving structures. I know the predrop doesn't have many moving objects, and that's cause I wanted to reserve that for a much more erratic and energetic drop. Hopefully it'll work out :)
As for the level's difficulty, I don't really know. I'd like to believe this is harder than Leyak, and in my opinion Achlys too. But it's probably not quite enough to be an extreme demon. For me however, this is a top 1 as Leyak and Achlys are my 2 hardests.

Another easy demon the I dont have much to say about. Its just kinda alright overall. I will say that the ship and ufo parts near around 60% are surprisingly fun to play though.

Ok so I was eliminated in round 1 so I didnt participate in round 2. But then I was revived so yay :)
The tournament has been cancelled from what I gather, which is a shame cause despite some stress and confusion it was still really fun to be a part of. This layout wasnt finished due to that, my part was supposed to be twice as long as it is right now.
If I understand correctly though its gonna start again when 2.2 drops, which would be fun :)
The prompt for round 3 was Tag Team. For the round all participants where divided into 4 teams of 4, so instead of competing against everyone else, every group competes against each other. Each team must make a full layout that follows a theme and/or gimmick. Each team got a chosen team leader as well.
I didnt involve myself much with organizing the team, because it was the middle of the summer and I was quite busy with non-GD stuff. I let the rest of the team decide, and I just went along with whatever they came up with.
Eventually the team decided to use Viva la Vida (no idea why but its a nice song I guess lol), and we landed on a dungeon/castle theme, which I tried to represent a little with the structuring in my part.
It was fun to build on this, despite the tournament getting cancelled (for now).

Definitely one of (if not) the best levels ive ever played. The gameplay is great and fair, except for maybe 29%-34%, which is kinda inconsistent. And the predrop is a fair bit harder than the rest of the level. The decoration is amazing. I think the pulses is the highlight of the level, they perfectly create this sorta glitchy sci-fi neon atmosphere that is just awesome. The block design is fantastic, though some parts overuse the invisible blocks a bit too much. And the backgrounds are great, while never overtaking the other decoration, except for when it needs to. Overall, this is just a masterpiece of a level.
