Hello everyone and welcome to my final video of 2022, Disco Elysium. If a couple of parts of this video seem a little quiet, it’s because I’D hoped to use some of the game’s music in those parts. Unfortunately the video got a copyright claim from Sea Power when I tried to upload it so even the part where I’m talking about how great their music is doesn’t have any examples. Can’t be helped I suppose.
What a year it’s been. We’ve explored the Legacy Of Kain, gone on The Longest Journey, visited a quiet resort town high in the hills and fought for truth and justice as an all American super soldier. To finish things off we are now looking at the story of a detective who got so black out drunk that he utterly destroyed his own mind.
It is with great pleasure that I introduce 2019s best game. Made by studio ZA/UM and written by Robert Kurvitz, this is an isometric RPG with no combat that is all story and all heart. Let’s explore these characters and this world and learn all about the deep writing and systems that make this rpg and unequalled classic. Is it perfect? No of course not but it certainly is unique, engaging and funny as all hell. So come join me down the rabbit hole one last time . As always, shares, likes and comments are always very much appreciated
A big thank you to Thesummerofmark for this contributions to the video. Check out his channel here.
