One of the most common questions I get is, "How do I get these digital D64 files onto a real, physical floppy disk?"
It’s easier than you think, but you need the right tools. In this video, we are using the Maverick data copier to take disk images from a virtual drive (like the Ultimate II+) and write them directly to a real 1541/1571 disk drive.
I’ll walk you through the whole process, including the "hokey pokey" you have to do with Drive 8 conflicts, how to set up the fast data copier, and even how to copy individual files from a virtual disk to a physical one. If you want to play Frogger or listen to SID tunes on real magnetic media, this is how you do it.
