Request Playthrough | Part 21: Undoing a Tragic Fate
Difficulty: Balanced (Normal)
We're set to deliver the wine as a peace offering. But if only we knew just how messed up things are going to turn out.
We meet with the leader of this keep, Neptunemon. We deliver the wine to him and we leave. But as we return back, she realizes what she had done. Neptunemon dies from a poison. Venusmon sees the ocean going red and it's the result of something bad. She is then on her knees and the poison suddenly has everyone going down. But for whatever reason, we end up in the In-Between Theater. This was not meant to happen.
Mirei Mikagura says that this wasn't meant to be. That this strange power is taboo. So we head to the VIP Room. Homeros is sleeping. King Drasil and Kunlun state that they can't meddle in the affairs of the world. If one goes down, the balance would be thrown out of proportion. Homeros was preparing something so we meet with Mirei. We meet with Mirei who says for us to head for the theater. Aegiomon has the treasure, meaning he has the power of Akashic Vision. It's why Homeros prepped the theater, just for this occasion.
So we watch the movie, in which it tells about the tale of Shellmon and Divermon. And it's tragic. So now we must change this outcome. We then return back to a point of time before Neptunemon drank the poison. So we get some intel, then meet with Venusmon. We tell her what happened. Turns out the wine had a sedative, not a poison. She has the antidote but she insists to get the wine. So we head for MasterBlimpmon and figure out that Lanamon was never on her side.
So we got to take her down. Lanamon is a Variable meaning no attribute weakness. Instead she is weak to Electricity and Fire. Focus on those and she can go down. If you have Digimon with the right weaknesses, you'll do just fine. After beating Lanamon, she's determined to see Neptunemon fall. Made worse is that we learn that the Titans bear a grudge. A major grudge against Chronomon. We race to meet with Neptunemon. Thankfully we arrive just in time. Neptunemon and Venusmon reunite, only for Lanamon to show up and ruin the moment. She's pissed and she's ready to lash out.
Lanamon undergoes a slide evolution, Calmaramon. You have Neptunemon and Venusmon with you so be sure to bring the pain and then some. When she charges, focus on her mantle until her gauge is drained. Once it's drained, give her hell. With Calmaramon defeated, the future has changed for the better. In doing so, two fates have been changed. And in doing so, Aegiomon gains a brand new power when he evolves.
