A viewer who was working on a large commercial build site here in the pacific northwest got in touch with me regarding some construction cores in use at that campus and I learned of a crazy eBay listing that seems to either be the product of a confused and inept novice or an unscrupulous and shady vendor. Either way, this video should help you all understand the landscape of Schlage's FISC construction core system a little better and help you avoid buying things online that are not quite worth their price tag.
In related news, astute viewer Ryan pointed me to another YouTube channel which was featuring what looked like our signature Lishi Standoff Spacer items (something that I designed many years ago with help from Tony of 3D Locksport and input from Justin A & JimyLongs and which I released under and open-source non-commercial license on my GitHub page) and we touch on that at the end of this video, as well. Remember, kids... the open source community is meant for the benefit of everyone, and that kind of goodwill and open sharing gets undermined if people take others' public designs and monetize them for their own private gain. Don't do that.
