I was hopping between islands up here in the PNW with Tarah and I spotted something that seemed unusual to me on one of the boats we were taking. Have you ever seen a door like this? I had to know what was up.

I've known Marc Tobias for a long time and been a happy owner of Locks, Safes, and Security (including the electronic version of that resource, which is really something!) for ages. I am quite impressed with the direction he has opted to go with his latest book, though. The focus on *why* security flaws happen and the ramifications (beyond merely the door) that percolate through the legal system and society at large are a fascinating and often overlooked part of how we share lessons in our industry.
