A Day of Small Things | Dickens' attitude towards the French Revolution? A Tale of Two Cities @adayofsmallthings | Uploaded May 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Hi it's Nicole. 'A Tale of Two Cities' is a historical fiction written by #CharlesDickens about the French Revolution. Many say it is one of the least Dickensian novels but I absolutely loved it! I discuss one question in this video: what was Dickens' attitude towards the French Revolution? Was he on the side of 'the people' or was he on the side of the aristocrats? What was his lesson for us to build a better society and life for all? I hope you enjoy it and pick up the novel yourself.

Thanks Katie from @katiejlumsden for recommending it as part of the #HistoricalFictionReadathon. If this was the only book I read this month, that would have been enough - it was SO good!
