A Day of Small Things | Books I read in October 2022 // G. K. Chesterton outshone everyone! // Victorian literature @adayofsmallthings | Uploaded November 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
The highlight this month is The Napoleon of Notting Hill by G. K. Chesterton - I haven't read such an unusual novel for a long time. If you’re a keen reader, I highly recommend How to Read Literature Like a Professor by Thomas C. Foster - it has opened my eyes to many things. For #victober I read The Mayor of Casterbridge by Thomas Hardy, What Maisie Knew by Henry James, and a few short stories by various authors from the Victorian era and the early 20th century.
It's also my one-year anniversary on BookTube! I'd love to hear your opinions on three things:
1) Do you have any questions for me about reading or about making videos for BookTube?
2) Was there a memorable video, or type of video, of mine that you particularly enjoyed?
3) What would you like to see more of next year?
Please leave me a comment!
