Painting of a crusader I did for the contest but didn't place. I struggled a lot with the lines as you can see in the video.
I guess the lesson you can take away from this is to make sure the line of action is clear and more dynamic. Lines are great to help you render but having no solid line of action will make all the line details stagnant and useless.
Basically I tried to include as much of the body in the image and it compromised the action I wanted. Next time, I will prioritize the action first even if it obscures more parts of the character.
