Yaaaay, volume 2! *ducks more rotten fruit*
1) Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory // Dreams to Dream Book to Movie MEP ~ This is the third part I'd taken for this MEP since one of the members had had to drop their part, and I don't think it's nearly good as the other two (the piece that follows this and the Wizard of Oz bit from my last compilation) since I couldn't find many good illustrations for the book that I could place alongside scenes from the film, but it was nice to give some kudos to this movie, which is a classic and I adore it and Gene Wilder jbdvgfatiwbfwukgfyavjha. X333
2) The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe // Dreams to Dream Book to Movie MEP ~ This is the second part I did, and I think I'm the happiest with this one, half because of the awesome animations of original Narnia book illustrations that I found intermingled with special feature documentaries on the DVD. Plus I love giving love to this movie, which is one of my favorite live-action Disney films of all time. I just love the choices Andrew Adamson made that in my opinion only improved the original material and brought it to life better than I could've imagined, and although I wish the two that followed it had kept that same charm (not that I didn't enjoy them a lot, I did), I do hope that when the copyright issue with the series and Disney is handled, we can see more of this series of films. I DEMAND ME SOME SILVER CHAIR.
3) Satsuki and Yasuko (My Neighbor Totoro) // Wind Beneath My Wings Mother's Day MEP ~ Another one of three parts I had to do for a MEP! And yay, I get to show Ghibli love in the process. Although the mother in Totoro doesn't appear much (the father gets much more screen time, and I love him a lot too, he's a kick-ass dad), she interestingly is almost a main player in the movie, since her being in the hospital and their father working is the reason why Satsuki and her sister Mei get into so many magical adventures. And the climax of the film goes down all because Mei believes Yasuko is deathly ill and she runs away from home in an attempt to get her some corn that she thinks might make her mother better. So that's the perspective here -- Satsuki tells Yasuko all about her wonderful adventures with Totoro and the Catbus, like the film, and like in the film, Yasuko gets to see the truth in her stories.
4) Violet and Helen Parr (The Incredibles) // Wind Beneath My Wings Mother's Day MEP ~ Speaking of awesome moms, how about Helen Parr/Elastigirl? She is just epic in every sense of the word. I'll have to use her in more videos if I can, I just love her.
5) Shizuku and Seiji (Whisper of the Heart) // A Whole New World OTP MEP ~ The idea behind this MEP is to represent our favorite OTP from any canon, so, of course, my mind went straight to Ghibli. XDD Hahaha. No, I actually had been very close to using Fakir and Ahiru from Princess Tutu, but...I have to be honest, this is my favorite Ghibli film of all time, and it's all because of these characters. They're both just so likable and I can only dream of having a love story like theirs. Not enough people have seen this movie, so I just had to represent it.
6) Tiana and James (The Princess and the Frog) // You're My Hero Father's Day MEP ~ I'd never heard this song before going onto Youtube searching for a father's day song, but you know, it kind of got me emotional. It's a very sappy, but nice song. For someone who actually has a lot of daddy issues, it is hard sometimes for me to be very lovey-dovey with my own father, but it makes me all the happier to see good fathers and the love they can show with their families, and Tiana and James's supportive, loving relationship is just what I've always dreamed of, even if it was short-lived.
7) Tiana (The Princess and the Frog) and Prince Christopher (Rodger's and Hammerstein's Cinderella) // Somewhere Out There Crossover MEP ~ Weird match-up, I know...the whole theme behind this is a romance between an animated Non-Disney character and a character from another canon, whether anime, live-action film, TV series, whatever, and I won't lie, the visual similarity between Tiana in Charlotte's dress and Cinderella!Brandy (would that be Branderella?) in her ball dress inspired this whole damn thing. LOOK AT THAT. They look practically identical. And as well, Paulo Montalban is smexy. Whatever happened to him?
8) Dream Along with Mickey Disney Tribute MEP ~ Pretty self-explanatory...anything and everything related to the Disney company is here, whether the parks, Marvel, the Broadway shows, whatever! I loved being able to put so many salutes in this. :)
9) Touch the Sky 100+ Subscribers MEP ~ Yeah, who knew our tiny little MEP studio already has so many followers? To celebrate our milestone, we threw out the rulebook, so this is pretty much a mash MEP...which meant I somehow ended up staying confined to Non-Disney and Ghibli. Lol. XD But I am overall decently pleased with how it came out.

Hoookay, finally fixed the quality: I posted this yesterday but oh my GAWD did the combo of Roxios settings and YT screw up the quality. XD; So here we are, much better.
First off, you may notice a little red pegasus in the corner of this vid: this is a test of a watermark (not unlike the little green hat luigirules64 does for her videos) in an attempt to better keep track of my videos and keep them from getting stolen. Hopefully its not too distracting, but I figured itd be better than an obnoxious border. XD; This video is mostly focused around the Mytho/Ahiru/Fakir triangle in the second season, with Ahirus conflicting feelings in her affection for Mytho and her endearment for Fakir, all through Fakirs POV. Hopefully the rest of the video will be easy to follow, as it basically follows the storyline of the second season: doing the timing to a rock song was really hard, especially with the multiple black-outs in the beginning and end, but there are some sections in this that Im incredibly pleased with. I did shorten the song, mostly to compress the amount of clips I needed to use, to keep the video small enough to render, and to keep myself from going insane after how much work the beginning and ending took to sync. XD;; Hope you enjoy!")

YES, I AM WORKING ON A FULL VIDEO (a trailer *and* a remake of a very old video that was blocked, actually) AND YOU WILL SEE IT SOON, I PROMISE. XD;;; This MEP just has to be done by Halloween, so I thought Id get it out of the way ASAP, especially since Ive joined a local singing group called the Encore Vocal Ensemble (find them on YT here: http://www.youtube.com/user/encorevocalensemble ) and I will be busy getting ready for my first show with them all of October. But yeah, thisll be our Halloween MEP for CFS a creepy little MEP to this lovely cover of a song from Hocus Pocus, which was originally sung by Sarah Jessica Parker and is here sung by YTs own Katethegreat19 (go to the original vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKlsUrfbiE0 ). The story (which I wonder if ANYONE will see other than me) is that one night Fakir follows a group of ghosts into the mist and meets the beautiful ghost Giselle. She dances out of the sorrow of losing her love, the Ghost Knight, who she thinks was reincarnated as Fakir. Fakir is shocked by this, but is so hypnotized by her beauty that he is frozen against her advances...it turns out, however, that this is all just a dream in Little!Fakirs mind. Is Fakir really the Ghost Knight, or is it Giselles misconception? Is Giselle sending a message to Little!Fakir, is it a premonition, or is it just some random delusional dream? Who can say...")

Yes, indeed, this is another vidlet present for another of my fellow DFGS teammates, xxMintoStarxx I wasnt sure what kind of music you preferred, so hopefully this song is okay...it just screamed the kind of innocent, romantic dreaminess that I associate so with this ship. I originally was going to add a bit more to this vid, where Alice dreams of her and Peter as adults falling in love (their adult forms wouldve been Aurora and Phillip), but I felt like I wouldve had to make it longer and more dramatic than it needed to be, so I kept it simple. Hope you like it, Minto dear!
The storyline itself should be pretty easy to figure out Peter and Alice are just relaxing in the meadow one golden afternoon when Alice dozes off in the flowerbed and dreams of Peter taking her to a magical garden. Peter then wakes her up, Alice tells him about her dream, and Peter understandably doesnt know what to make of it, so the two laugh it off and head on their way.")

Okay, this will...likely make no sense to anyone except for me, so heres some background. As most of you know, I work at Disneys California Adventure in Attractions. I have worked at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and the Little Mermaid ride for almost two years now, and Ive made a lot of friends while working in Paradise Pier. A new opportunity recently opened up in another area of California Adventure, however, and I am now transferring to open up a brand new attraction. This means, however, that I must leave behind my knowledge and seniority from my previous rides in order to do it, meaning I will likely never work at these rides again. Its been a very bittersweet thing for me, so I made this video in a quick attempt to counsel me through it Nausicaa is my rep character on DisneyFanGirlzStudio, and I sure could use her strength throughout all this. When she has to confront something new and frightening, she always puts forward the best face she can, and I should do the same. As the song I chose says, dont say weve come now to the end Ive made a lot of kids and families happy as a sailor and ranger, and this is a great opportunity for me to create even more smiles in a new role and position.
