::THIRD PLACE IN TUTUPUPPET01'S AMV CONTEST:: Yo, everyone...the Tory is back, with a new AMV at long last. My dad's computer had crashed, and it being the only one I could make AMVs on, that really sucked. Anyway, this be my second AU AMV, but with a focus this time on Rue and Mytho. The story goes as follows: Mytho, having recovered from an addiction to raven's blood, reflects on his life with his girlfriend Rue, and wants to see her again to apologize for his addiction hurting her so. His friend Fakir, who has been taking care of Mytho, tries to convince him not to leave the house, but Mytho leaves anyway and wanders through the town searching for Rue. After a day of searching, the ravens catch up with him, taunting him...for, they caw at him, Rue committed suicide while he was in treatment. Mytho, mad with grief, falls back into the ravens' control, and becomes one himself. As he flies through the skies, however, ready to go into the Monster Raven's service forever, Rue returns to his mind, and the memories are able to restore his humanity, before he falls to his death. Still, in his mind before he dies, he is with Rue again. The heartshards and jewel represent the "bottles" in which Mytho intakes more ravens' blood. I am really mad about this video, as some parts got really off-sync due to me having to put this in pieces and putting it back together...but I hope you like it all the same.
This AMV was originally to be part of the second round of sailorscout13's contest, but I didn't get it finished in time...I did, however, get it finished one day after the birthday of two dear friends of mine: TwilightWings (on Youtube) and haleysings (on Livejournal), and so I dedicate this to you two! Much love! This video is also a celebration of me having the first DVD of Princess Tutu at long last, after not having it in all of my AMV projects. XD So Hallelujah for that! I couldn't have done this AMV without it.

YES, I AM WORKING ON A FULL VIDEO (a trailer *and* a remake of a very old video that was blocked, actually) AND YOU WILL SEE IT SOON, I PROMISE. XD;;; This MEP just has to be done by Halloween, so I thought Id get it out of the way ASAP, especially since Ive joined a local singing group called the Encore Vocal Ensemble (find them on YT here: http://www.youtube.com/user/encorevocalensemble ) and I will be busy getting ready for my first show with them all of October. But yeah, thisll be our Halloween MEP for CFS a creepy little MEP to this lovely cover of a song from Hocus Pocus, which was originally sung by Sarah Jessica Parker and is here sung by YTs own Katethegreat19 (go to the original vid here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKlsUrfbiE0 ). The story (which I wonder if ANYONE will see other than me) is that one night Fakir follows a group of ghosts into the mist and meets the beautiful ghost Giselle. She dances out of the sorrow of losing her love, the Ghost Knight, who she thinks was reincarnated as Fakir. Fakir is shocked by this, but is so hypnotized by her beauty that he is frozen against her advances...it turns out, however, that this is all just a dream in Little!Fakirs mind. Is Fakir really the Ghost Knight, or is it Giselles misconception? Is Giselle sending a message to Little!Fakir, is it a premonition, or is it just some random delusional dream? Who can say...")

Yes, indeed, this is another vidlet present for another of my fellow DFGS teammates, xxMintoStarxx I wasnt sure what kind of music you preferred, so hopefully this song is okay...it just screamed the kind of innocent, romantic dreaminess that I associate so with this ship. I originally was going to add a bit more to this vid, where Alice dreams of her and Peter as adults falling in love (their adult forms wouldve been Aurora and Phillip), but I felt like I wouldve had to make it longer and more dramatic than it needed to be, so I kept it simple. Hope you like it, Minto dear!
The storyline itself should be pretty easy to figure out Peter and Alice are just relaxing in the meadow one golden afternoon when Alice dozes off in the flowerbed and dreams of Peter taking her to a magical garden. Peter then wakes her up, Alice tells him about her dream, and Peter understandably doesnt know what to make of it, so the two laugh it off and head on their way.")

Okay, this will...likely make no sense to anyone except for me, so heres some background. As most of you know, I work at Disneys California Adventure in Attractions. I have worked at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and the Little Mermaid ride for almost two years now, and Ive made a lot of friends while working in Paradise Pier. A new opportunity recently opened up in another area of California Adventure, however, and I am now transferring to open up a brand new attraction. This means, however, that I must leave behind my knowledge and seniority from my previous rides in order to do it, meaning I will likely never work at these rides again. Its been a very bittersweet thing for me, so I made this video in a quick attempt to counsel me through it Nausicaa is my rep character on DisneyFanGirlzStudio, and I sure could use her strength throughout all this. When she has to confront something new and frightening, she always puts forward the best face she can, and I should do the same. As the song I chose says, dont say weve come now to the end Ive made a lot of kids and families happy as a sailor and ranger, and this is a great opportunity for me to create even more smiles in a new role and position.

Okay, um...this is just flat-out crack. I was feeling really miserable around the time of that last Vent video (the subject of which is now OVER, HALLE-FREAKIN-LUJAH) when I stumbled on this gem of a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyX7V4eRBk0&list=FLwSIVuypSpIrCEkC2lqAvMA&index=7 Im a big fan of Harry Potter and of the Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons foursome, and Id never heard the song before, so I found the original video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7XfxbvclG8&feature=share&list=FLwSIVuypSpIrCEkC2lqAvMA ) and bought the song to do a video myself, mostly because as much as I love the RotBTD vid, I thought itd be fun to try and sort other characters in the Non-Disney canon. The only character whose sorting Im not happy with is ironically the first one, Derek (I see him more as a Gryffindor, given his rashness), but since I didnt have any footage from Atlantis: The Lost Empire, I couldnt use Milo, and Dereks footage just worked the best with the lyrics. I could also see Aladdin as a Slytherin given his cleverness, but again, his footage seemed to work best for Gryffindors lyrics, and he is also brave and a bit of an attention-seeker. I realize now I forgot to put my watermark on too, but oh well! This was just something done to cheer myself up, so hopefully it will entertain you as it did me making it! :)
