Okay, this will...likely make no sense to anyone except for me, so here's some background. As most of you know, I work at Disney's California Adventure in Attractions. I have worked at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail and the Little Mermaid ride for almost two years now, and I've made a lot of friends while working in Paradise Pier. A new opportunity recently opened up in another area of California Adventure, however, and I am now transferring to open up a brand new attraction. This means, however, that I must leave behind my knowledge and seniority from my previous rides in order to do it, meaning I will likely never work at these rides again. It's been a very bittersweet thing for me, so I made this video in a quick attempt to counsel me through it -- Nausicaa is my rep character on DisneyFanGirlzStudio, and I sure could use her strength throughout all this. When she has to confront something new and frightening, she always puts forward the best face she can, and I should do the same. As the song I chose says, "don't say we've come now to the end" -- I've made a lot of kids and families happy as a sailor and ranger, and this is a great opportunity for me to create even more smiles in a new role and position.
