...I love this song. I just do. Once, a long, long time ago, I sang another song from this musical, "Schroeder" (and a noticeably prettier version than that of the musical, which is sung shrilly and harshly), for a summer theater program, and my mother bought the musical soundtrack so we could compare my performance to the original. Lost and forgotten in a drawer full of CDs, I grabbed it more recently, remembering we had it after I watched a hilarious AMV with this song being sung by Renge and Tamaki from the anime Ouran High School Host Club, and decided to do a video with it myself to take a break from all the brainstorming I was doing for Ghost Opera. I am amazed by how little time this took, considering how much lip-sync I had to do...I contemplated several times on the casting, wondering if Rue would be more appropriately bossy, or Autor would be more appropriate as he plays piano, but Ahiru and Fakir won overall, and I think they're funny doing this song together. Kristen Chenoweth's voice (also known as part of the original Wicked cast in the part of Galinda) in particular with Ahiru amuses me greatly. I hope you all enjoy~! :D
