Dez Farara's DevilDriver will be releasing their NEW, 11th studio release called, 'Strike & Kill' on July 10th, 2026. From the 2 singles I've heard so far, I am GREATLY anticipating its release; and as the date draws near, it made me think about Dez & the LONG history RMW has had with the man. We first met Dez during the Coal Chamber days & obviously continued to support him when he transitioned to DD. SO,...I thought I'd dig into the RMW Archive & release for the FIRST TIME ONLINE 2 interviews from our history with him. Here is the FIRST from back in 2004 as we supported the self-titled debut. In this interview Dez shares about why he left Coal Chamber (& started his own band), this more brutal musical direction & lots of details into the making of the debut.
