On Wednesday 8 December 2021 we held a special webinar to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the zebrafish issue, chaired by Alex Schier (Harvard University and University of Basel).
The third talk was from Brad Cairns (Huntsman Cancer Institute), who described how maternally-inherited piRNAs protect zebrafish and medaka embryos from transposable elements. The talk is followed by a Q&A with Brad, chaired by Alex.
