The four phases for the process for the development of qualified AM processes are:
✅ Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) consisting out of a functional test and conformity check
✅ Installation Qualification (IQ) consisting out of safety features and verification of utilities and facility
✅ Operational Qualification (OQ) consisting out of process control limits, risk assessments and mitigations and material handling requirements
✅ Performance Qualification (PQ) consisting out of reproducibility and process quality monitoring
