Deus Ex developed by Ion Storm is an early 2000's gem that is, in my opinion, the most important game ever made. A complex action RPG at its core, with the veneer of an FPS, but with an unreal story behind the scenes.
Considering the state of our modern world, the story of Deus Ex really requires no explanation or retrospective- as we're seemingly living in it as we speak! Indeed, it is a weird one- and there's certainly not much else out there like it. Go grab yourself a lemon (or lime) sit back- and take it easy...or perhaps...don't take it easy? Whatever.
