My retrospective on Deus Ex: Human Revolution, AKA, the Cyberpunk before Cyberpunk. What a gem from 2011 this is. Set in a dystopian 2027 whereby the media is corrupt, a shadowy elite dictates all policies and humanity is divided on an ethical topic, causing widespread riots. Sounds...familiar, come to think of it. But hey, they have cool robotic arms. Augmentations! Oh yeah! Why don't we have those yet? Someone needs to make a real life Sarif industries, for real. Wait, why am I wasting time making these when I could be making robot arms? I'm out of here!
