Judges Review:
"You definitely stood out as far as the editing style for this round. While your competition in this round went for slow and emotional, you went for fast and beaty and we definitely enjoyed it, even if it was somewhat unexpected. First off, your timing throughout the video was on point. The internal movement was great and the song choice was very original. The effects were well done also. The static effect you used matched the song perfectly and it was used at all the right moments during the song. It was as if we could hear the static sound throughout your entry. We really loved how intense you made the movie in the video and how despite the scene movements being fast, everything was easy to pick up on. All in all, we really enjoyed your entry and that made it so much harder to try narrowing it down to a winner. As we looked at your past entries, along with your entry with this round, we finally decided that it is you who deserves to take the title as the winner of Bet on it Competition this season! Thank you for participating and we would like to congratulate you on winning the first season of BOIT!"

Wow. I can hardly believe that this is my final entry for the BOIT competition. This challenge the judges gave us free reign. And that is hard. With no guidelines and direction, I had no idea where to start. I think I started about 3 or 4 different projects and I had about 5 different ideas, but I finally decided on this one. I settled on this for a few different reasons.
The first was because the judges asked us to still pick something that would be a "challenge". I chose this song because for me, vidding without lyrics is more difficult than vidding with them. I made sure not to stray away from my normal editing style.
I chose Prince of Persia because it is one of my all time favorite movies. I LOVE everything about it, especially the cinematography. Another reason I chose this was because the judges have already seen me use dialogue and tell a story, but with this vid it's just me having fun with an epic song and an epic movie. ;)
I wanted to say thank you so much again for allowing me to participate in this competition. I have had *so* much fun throughout this entire experience. The challenges have forced me to come out of my comfort zone and try things I never would have imagined. I believe that this has definitely helped me grow as a vidder. ;) So thank you, I've really enjoyed it. :)
