Destiny 2’s Renegades Expansion is the second entry in the Fate Saga and its actually looking like it has a solid story that introduces strong characters, has excellent cutscene work and pushes the Fate Saga forward in a few meaningful ways. The villain Dredgen Bael is a core part of the story and he works fantastically well as a character and a story telling mechanism for the Nine. The campaign feels punchy but it does have some notable flaws. The ending feels a little too unresolved for my liking and there are a few odd quirks of gameplay and narrative that don't gel well together. It's also a Star Wars expansion, so it was bound to be a little divisive.
