Destiny 2's upcoming Renegades expansion is an homage to Star Wars made in partnership with Lucasfilm Games. Given that these two universes have some interesting heritage and given that it's relevant to the game at current I thought I'd talk about Star Wars and Destiny for about 45 minutes to outline the thematic overlaps between the universes, their various points of lore on either side and how one takes inspiration from the other.
