Destiny 2's Lore and Story in the Monument of Triumph update concludes the story of Maya Sundaresh, AKA The Conductor. Maya's journey led to her acquiring the Echo of Command and gaining control of the Vex on Nessus. She used this power to kill Three, a member of The Nine. All these actions were in service to her goal of reuniting with her wife Chioma, even as she had already killed her. Now at the end of her life, Maya lets go of her power and realises her mistakes.
