Hidden along the banks of the Chattahoochee River sits this incredible castle-like mansion, once valued at around $1.5 million. The home was last owned by a well-known jewelry designer who made a name for himself creating unique pieces. He also ventured into the world of fashion, something that may have been influenced by his wife and their shared creative lifestyle. From the outside, the mansion looks like something pulled straight out of Europe—a massive castle surrounded by trees, overlooking one of the most beautiful stretches of the river. But despite their success and everything they had built here, at some point, the couple left the mansion behind. There was reportedly a serious criminal case involving the couple that was investigated by the Secretary of State. But strangely, they weren't the suspects—they were the victims. And even that doesn't completely explain why they eventually walked away from this incredible home. For years, the castle sat abandoned along the river, its rooms slowly collecting dust and its story becoming more mysterious with time. As we approached the property we saw workers who were kind enough to let us explore!
