But just a few years ago, this place was full of life. It was built in the 1980s by a Jewish man and his wife, who had recently married and were starting a family. They had money — made from several successful party stores they owned — and they poured it into creating something special.
This wasn’t just a house. It was a full farm. They raised cows, goats, horses… and even ostriches. Yes, real ostriches. One of them became a favorite — so much so that they had a life-sized replica made, using real feathers. That statue still sits today, right in the middle of the dining room, untouched.
They had two children who grew up here, running through the fields, feeding the animals, and watching the seasons change from the giant windows inside.
