In this episode, we will be taking a look at the Apollo Astronaut (see more here: thingiverse.com/thing:2406778 ) as while an interesting object in itself, it also converts two powerful counter intuitive ideas being (1) the use of model bases supports as opposed to slicer placed and (2) unique model orientation. The combination of these two rather novel approaches allows for the creation of higher detail in models. We printed this on our MP-Mini Delta (see more here: diy3dtech.com/monopricemini_delta ) using PLA (see more here: diy3dtech.com/pla ).
