In this episode, we will be talking about one of the biggest questions my viewership ask me about the eBay K40 CO2 40 Watt Laser (see more here: diy3dtech.com/purchase-laser ) ! As it typically starts off something like this:
My CO2 Laser powers up and move when I run a job, however the laser tube does not fire, what could the problem be?
Well the key is the laser tube not firing, as even though the CO2 is a consumable in that over time and use the CO2 gas will break down and the performance of the tube will degrade, the tube still fires. The other thing is since still is moving, the power supply is likely still good as while it is possible for the high voltage section to fail, that is rather rare pre-say without the entire power supply failing.
With all of the this being said, the eBay K40 CO2 40watt laser is actually a rather simple device so what is left? Well that is what we cover in this video as not only will we cover how this works, however also test it also!
