In 1983, following complaints of sickly smells ftom the sewers at Cranley Gardens in Muswell Hill, London, workmen headed into the drains... and what they found there was to shock the country. This was the start of the unravelling of one of Britain's most prolific and twisted serial killers, Dennis Nilsen.
