Stefano Zandri, known by the stage name Den Harrow, was credited for a string of hits throughout the 80s, including Don’t Break My Heart, Catch the Fox, Charleston and Future Brain. However, he didn’t sing on the majority of them! Bad Boy was one of many singles sung by American vocalist Tom Hooker and later lip synced by Harrow. The producers explain that the essence of Den Harrow was in the visuals and not the music, and so Zandri was falsely marketed as an all American pop star to the English speaking world.
