The tricks are awkward to figure out at first... especially since the demo doesn't let you know how to even do them proper (analog stick directions). But once you kinda figure out it mainly is just spinning the analog stick around while holding down a button, it's not horrible.
The map is pretty cool, but the characters and racing is really weird.
