I'm sure there is a way to reverse grabs and such so that i don't get thrown about and beaten down so easily, but the demo doesn't really tell me how it works and trying to do things like timing the block button before the grab and such don't seem to do anything so... yea.
I do find it a bit sad that the series went from a wrestling game with some brawler aspects to it to straight up just a regular fighting game. Yes, the original game was jank and awkward, but i don't think going AWAY from it really makes it look that much better. Now it just looks and feels rather generic, all things considered.
