Here's the story. I got Demon's Souls for the PS3. Played through it. It was pretty cool. Found out you could emulate it on PC. Tried it on my laptop. Failed. Later, I built a PC. Tried it on that. Playable, just pretty disgusting, sound and graphical glitches all over the place.
Then I updated RPCS3 and suddenly it all worked like a charm. I installed a 60 fps mod and boom, this game looks better than DSR. And now I really want to play through again. So here we go, SL1 run of Demon's Souls.
I think this run is notoriously easy compared to other Souls games. Especially if you dupe upgrade items, you can have a +9 weapon after the first boss. So I'm going to restrict myself a bit with what I use. I'm going to push world tendency to pure black. Then I'll upgrade my weapon to whatever I feel is appropriate, and probably possible to have at that point in the game.
Anyway, here's Vanguard, the Asylum Demon prototype. He's very simple, teaches you to smack the booty, or die. He hits like a truck so I have to play it safe. He has a ton of health because you're meant to die here. But I'm not playing around. I poked him to death. Got hit once at the end and I was mad.
