Alright, my parry game is starting to be tested. I didn't realize you could parry bosses, and I haven't parried much in general. But watching other videos I'm seeing how parrying is used effectively. Combined with the Deft Parry gift which restores stamina on a parry, it's super rewarding to pull off parries.
I saw I was one hit away and nearly choked at the end, but I got the kill. I'm really happy with all the parry opportunities I was able to take advantage of here. But it took about 24 attempts to get this style of fighting solid enough for the video.
Also the video ends at 1:35, I just wanted to skip the cutscenes to get to my Status menu for the Level 1 proof. I'm just going to do that at the start from now on. SO MANY CUTSCENES.
