30 attempts feels good. Last time he was my first wall with about 50 attempts. He's super tanky, and mistakes are real easy to make with his spin attacks and shield bash. I had been watching someone who used the gift accelerator instead of venom, but I couldn't get it to work for me. For it to be worth it, you needed to be able to dash around his spin and be behind him for the gift use. But I couldn't get that consistent. And I like venom lol.
The ending was all about surviving. I was low on ichor so I couldn't buff without giving up my ichor dash. Backing off could have caused him to use ranged attacks, I just stayed in until he decided to not punch. WHICH TOOK FOREVER. Probably should have just backed off a little, maybe he would have done a good attack. But I got a buff off in the end and got real greedy for that kill. It all worked out. Longest fight yet for NG+6.
