This is a really cool remake of Darkness keeper by AbstractDark. I usually don’t like Alex’s levels too much because they remind me of Magma Bound, but this is really different. The colors are fantastic, and the theming is done exceptionally well. Some parts look a little messy and unpolished, such as the first and last cubes. In terms of gameplay, the bossfight was a bit annoying because of how unreadable it was, the arrows were basically useless and it took me quite some time to learn. The robot part was also essentially memorization based, but it had a nice flow which helped drastically. Other than that, it was really fun! I’d say this is about medium demon difficulty.

This level looks fine for its time, although some parts look much better than others. I really love the song though, definitely adds a lot to the level in my opinion.
In terms of gameplay, this could have been awesome but it doesnt feel playtested at all, which kind of ruins it. Here are all the issues I have with it:
- The ship at 5% is quite annoying, some clicks dont feel intuitive at all.
- 14% is by far the biggest chokepoint in the level, the first four clicks of the spam are fine but the last one is almost completely luck-based and never gets consistent.
- The blue orb at 16% is annoying.
- The robot jumps at 20% feel quite unfair and the slopes can be slightly buggy.
- The spam at 23% is very frustrating, theres not much you can do to avoid dying there although it isnt that bad.
- 48% should speak for itself. It actually gets surprisingly consistent and it is definitely pretty satisfying to pull off though.
- The ball timing at 58% is too hard.
- 59-62% is super awkward and pretty inconsistent.
The rest of the level is actually really fun. In terms of difficulty, I think this is almost identical to SubSonic, probably slightly easier.

The best extreme demon I have ever played in terms of gameplay. The balancing is surprisingly good considering how short the level is, and overall it is just incredibly fun and satisfying to play. I don’t know what else I can say, this is just way too fun. My experience with this level was also fantastic since I somehow fluked it from 78%, which I wasn’t expecting at all, the ending being very difficult. I also really the decoration, I think it matches the song’s intensity quite well. Difficulty-wise, I think it’s harder than Ecstasy and easier than Blade of Justice. I definitely recommend this level!

Oh my god. This level’s gameplay is without a doubt the best I have ever encountered in this game. I can’t even explain how fun this is. You just need to play it, because this is unbelievably good. Not a single awkward part or timing, not a single bug, perfectly balanced, perfectly synced...The decoration is also amazing. I love gradientxd’s style, as it’s very clean and features really cool color combos and movements. Not sure this is an insane demon since it took me way less attempts and time than psychosis or the furious, but I’ll label it as such because that’s what most people think it is. Go play this level NOW.

Honestly, this level is really poorly made. All of the difficulty comes from massive chokepoints like 47% or weird bugs while the rest of the level is extremely consistent. As a result, this level feels incredibly easy in runs but getting past every single stupidly hard timing from 0 is quite difficult. The easier parts are actually really fun though. I wouldnt recommend playing this level unless you know you can beat it relatively fast.

Probably the best run I’m going to get on a copy, since there is no point in going from anywhere before Shock’s part. Definitely getting more and more consistent, also got 51% and 52% today :D

Another amazing level by Blue. This is the sequel to Deep Swim and I love it; the atmosphere was also brilliantly executed and the decoration looks even better and more polished this time. I think in terms of decoration this is the better level, but I still prefer Deep Swim because I feel like the atmosphere was more special - I also prefer the song. I especially liked the ball and wave parts here, perhaps the second part could’ve been more polished but it’s fine.
Gameplay-wise this is really fun, the wave part in the middle took me way less time than expected to learn so that was a nice surprise. There isn’t much to say, this is just really well made. Some timings in the first cube were slightly annoying but I’m sure those would’ve been way more consistent if I had spent more time on this. Definitely one of the easiest insane demons out there in my opinion - significantly easier than Deep Swim. Also, this is my 30th rated insane demon :)

I definitely think this would be my hardest demon (harder than Betrayal of Fate on mobile in my opinion). Very happy with this run, going from 0 is gonna be a different story though, the first ship is really hard for me.

Had a very bad time with this one. It was pretty fun at first but I kept dying at the last cube which completely ruined my enjoyment. I think this is the unluckiest Ive ever been on an extreme demon.
The first 20% is really hard but most of it gets relatively consistent after a while, although some timings stay really annoying like the blue orb at 14-15% or the one at 3%. Overall, this predrop isnt as bad as it looks.
The yellow orb at 23% might just be the most infuriating timing Ive seen in an extreme demon. It literally could not get any more unfair, its completely off screen which makes it incredibly frustrating to die there. You can kinda guess where the orb is after a while but its still annoying.
The ship part is the easiest part on HRR besides the last wave although it features some strange bits such as the dual.
I hate the last cube. I hate it so much. The amount of times I died there is depressing, I still cannot believe I got this unlucky. 53%, which is objectively one of the hardest timings in the level, was incredibly consistent for me. I have no idea why or how, but I almost never died there from 0. However, the rest of the cube was an absolute nightmare. The cube timing at 61% is unbelievably hard, I died there ALL THE TIME. Then you have 66% which feels kind of random and also killed me a lot. The spam isnt hard at all but I kept dying there from 0 for whatever reason. 72-73% killed me a few times too, as well as the green orb at 75% which I constantly hit too early. I also died at 81% three times and finally I died at 84% twice, an incredibly stupid way to die. Thank god I fluked the last wave, although its by far the easiest part in the level so dying there wouldve sucked.
Overall not a great level, couldve been somewhat fun but the massive chokepoints and my awful luck ruined it.

I never thought Id be able to beat this. I remember my first practice runs on this level thinking it was impossible, and now I beat it. I personally think this is my hardest demon, harder than SubSonic even with a 144hz phone.
This level was a nightmare. It took me just under 2 weeks, playing it almost every day. I did not enjoy a single second of this and the only reason I beat it is because of its legendary status and its high placement on the mobile list. Honestly surprised I kept playing this considering how much I hated it, although it got slightly better near the end.
Everything before Michiguns part gets very consistent after a while. Vermilions ball part killed me occasionally but it wasnt a big issue.
Michiguns part is by far the hardest part in the level and nothing comes close. The first straight fly was incredibly annoying until I realized it was significantly easier if I didnt jump to transition into it. I hated the ball part a lot, never really got the hang of it. Dying there over and over again really got on my nerves. The same thing applies to the UFO which is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes I would get past it quite often and other times I would die there 95% of the time, basically felt random. I used to die at the last wave in Michiguns part a lot, which was insanely frustrating, but I got better at it after a while.
Evasium isnt too hard and if I stayed very focused I didnt die there often at all.
Cracks part is hard but manageable on 144hz. It got somewhat consistent after a while but I still died there very often.
Asonic. Where do I start. This part was a nightmare for me and I still dont know why. I died there 15 times from 0 which is ridiculous considering this part isnt supposed to be hard compared to the rest. I basically died everywhere, at the UFO, the ball, and of course the 65% spam. This part was incredibly frustrating because of how many times I died there, only rarely ever getting past it.
Etzer isnt too bad but it feels a bit awkward. Its incredibly easy to die, with a lot of challenging inputs and sections that require good control of your icons momentum, especially near the end.
Havok is definitely the easiest part in the level, nothing to say here.
Giron is pretty challenging, especially the pink orb at 89% and the blue orb at 92%.
Gboy is not hard but its a nightmare with nerves, still cant believe I fluked it. The straight fly at 95% is incredibly easy to mess up when youre very nervous.
Riots part is one single triple spike. And I almost timed it too early. That wouldve sucked.
I hate this level. Its difficulty made it one of the most stressful experiences Ive had in this game. Very happy to have it done, only one level left to beat in the apocalyptic trilogy: Cataclysm.
