I made this quick animation as a proof of concept. The concept proved to me that this would be over complicated for a very small movement envelope. Not to mention that the robot would have to move very slow when a bottom arm has to swing 90 degrees but the effector only moves an inch. I think it was still worth the experiment. However, I will definitely never build this thing.
