What do you get when cross a Stewart Platform with a SIMPSON? Answer: STEWIE. The arms can be actuated in any number of different ways from GUS Simpson arms to hydraulic pistons to what is pictured here. The goal of this animation is to get a basic feel for the kinematics, stability of motion, sizes, etc. I have been contemplating building a Sextupteron but I may be building this first. I am a sucker for all this symmetry with no linear rails in sight.
