Michigan State University veterinarians and students are partnering with Lansing’s Potter Park Zoo to bring a baby rhinoceros into the world. Doppsee, the expectant mother, is a special member of the zoo’s family who is playing an important role in preserving the critically endangered black rhino species. Her pregnancy is providing the veterinarians information to help future rhinos, as well as giving vet students a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience.
