I'M BACKKKKKK! Kinda. School just started, but MILGRAM dropped a song, so that takes precedence amiright?
Jokes aside, I had really, really wanted to record more over winter break, but I instead used it to catch up on group projects and get started on Database Computer Science stuff (yipee...)
Anyways, Deep Cover is an absolute freaking banger, and I cannot wait to binge everybody's covers of it! This song was so fun to sing and so fun to write. It was like a sendoff to MILGRAM as a whole, and I decided to treat this cover similarly, a send off to MILGRAM Trial 2. I cannot wait to see what beauty and horror awaits us in Trial 3.
You will also notice that I took MANY creative liberties with my translyrics this time. I dunno why I decided to become a Kotoko defender lol. Maybe it was because I liked her character and wanted to add in more complexity than what was there/obvious. Maybe it was because I didn't want her to be massively downvoted by the angry mobs of the fanbase. Maybe it was because I loved this song. Whatever it was, I'm glad it happened, because I haven't had this much fun making a cover in a LONG while. Honestly, recording some past songs had felt like a chore at times, but working on this was a blast the whole way through
