Ah, after the trials over the last 7 days with my search for the elusive magic formula, I’ve decided to just have some painting fun today and get back to my ‘old’ formula that I know works really well for swipes.

Our challenge set by Sarah of Bakerboo Paints was to use a monochromatic style color scheme, pour the paint in puddles, then tilt and then use a fork to create a design. My idea of feathers didn’t work out because I made my puddles too large and there wasn’t space between them for the ‘feathery-bits’. So I thought I could do better. I might have been wrong about that.

Recipe:
Paints were mixed 1 part floetrol to 2 parts paint and then water as needed for consistency. No silicone in any of the paints.
