I have a couple of DEC terminals in my collection, and after getting some questions about how these actually look and behave, I set up this demo. When setting up the demo, I did not have any modern systems to run vttest on that also had proper serial ports, so I had to jump through an old 486 PC with an old Linux install with classical getty and SSH2. That's the reason you'll see me using Telnet to get to a modern Linux distro.
The terminals are more than 32 years old, still working without refurbishing. I am considering doing a refurb and adjustment to get a better screen-fill than what is shown here, but technically speaking there's no need for a re-cap or similar.
