Fairies are exquisite dancers, as we all know; prelude number 4 from book 2.
Lovely how in the middle section these fairies go wandering off into Scriabin land. A quote from Weber's Oberon at the end.
Created, edited and mastered in Digital Performer 5.13 (MOTU) using the Italian piano (Fazioli) sample library from ivory (Synthogy).
The dynamic range is very subdued, mostly pianissimo, the loudest marking an occasional mezzo-forte. I've used the soft pedal (midi controller 67) for most of the quiet passages, and thank you Ivory for the recently introduced variable sustain pedal (controller 64)!
