As requested by Raptorgames... how long ago? Too long, really. I'm terrible for forgetting about it, I know.
A surprisingly depressing video (but not a vent, just creativity!). I chose Leon simply because in the revamp of the series, he is Mr. Prettyboy Badass Jacket so you'd think he'd get the perfect life the song desribes.
The message of the video basically is that Leon appreciates the life he is given, but looks forward to the afterlife. So he looks forward to dying just to be in heaven. However, once death arrives for him he just wants to continue to living. All in all, enjoy life as you live as if it the only one you have. You never know, y'know?
I know the editing is really simple, and it doesn't literally display the lyrics. But it's a ballad, so being literal could be obnoxious. Editing to this genre of music is very hard for me, because effects just don't WORK with it. Probably why you see me editing with pop, as the beat tells me to use a certain tranisition or whatever. Rock/alternative... just doesn't do that to me. It's weird. Also I know how weird this even sounds. Just an editing quirk I have, I suppose haha.
I am also never going to do that much text again. I did it since Leon is "writing a letter". I hate it when people write out every word in a video, personally. But I hope you understand the reasoning I had behind this video for it.
Lastly, I know the funeral scene MAY be jarring especially following after two games from the same era of gaming, so everything seems consistant and then BOOM REAL LIFE?!!! But I am unfamiliar to any funeral scenes in a game, so I "borrowed" from a music video. Shhhh.
