Been a while huh? Do you remember me doing the PS5 version? Well thanks to the fine folks at EastAsiaSoft, it's now here at last. I am so thankful to these guys. I said it once and I'll say it again, this is Death End Re;Quest Code Z.
Okay, so you're probably asking, why was this game denied release in the West? That's simple. Remember back in 2024 when IFI made an announcement regarding this and the Neptunia trilogy? Well this is why. They weren't released here because it's stated that these games “violated content guidelines”. So, I have to ask... what exactly did this and many other games violate? That's what I want to know.
Fortunately, this game came out on the PS5, if anyone's interested. It's also on Steam. But I'm showing the Nintendo Switch version on the Nintendo Switch 2. And it runs pretty well. It actually does run well. I like it. For the sake of this video, I only cover the first hour as I do with my gameplay showcases. I do this to raise awareness. Not only that but if you want to get a copy, there are links in the description.
It's worth your time. That and I can finally have the Death End Re;Quest trilogy played on the Switch. Doug Bowser & NoA can kiss my shiny blue bomber ass. Seriously.
