Some of you still wonder who is Deaf Professor? So it means you haven't followed my uploads, right? Shame on you! No seriously, just kidding haha ;) It's not the first time that this great artist is under the spotlights of The BBC Music networks. This talented artist coming down from Guelph in Canada is a 21 years old electronic producer that started his career not even one year ago. Deaf Professor, scene name of Mike Nelson, always got interested in the recording, engineering, and production of music. He uses the popular software Logic Pro 9 with a Native Instruments MIDI Keyboard, Mackie monitors and a Yamaha MW12 CX to produce his music. If any of you want tips on these gears, you should probably ask him! Inspired by artists like Zeds Dead, Deadmau5 and Flux Pavillion, Deaf Professor fed his talents with widely renowned producers. As you probably already noticed if you followed that last post of Deaf Professor, Cutter!, Mike doesn't bound himself to a particular genre of music. Nevertheless, his productions are mostly electronic, ranging from electro-house to dubstep and drum and bass. In every songs, Deaf Professor tries to incorporate his past influences, combining melodic harmonies with heavy bass lines to create and design sounds that you can associate to Deaf Professor.

I am proud to present to you today what is to be a brand new Big Gigantic original production. Hailing from the city of Boulder in Colorado, they are the duo who brought you the bassful and jazz filled remixes of Get Em High, Black and Yellow, Opposite of Adults, and I Need A Dolla. Not to mention on top of that the all genuine A Place Behind the Moon album.
Now featuring their latest original song The World Is Yours, you can notice if you give a listen to their prior track this one is a definite different style. The song got a more prominent dubstep taste to it, but you can still hear that jazzy touch of Big Gigantics own. Hopefully I will have more information on Big G sooner or later ;)

Two days of inactivity isnt a lot, but it matters to me to show you Im here and I care about you. I really do my best to keep the rhythm of one upload per day, but I hope you understand that it takes a lot of time to do the kind of work Im doing. Im not just throwing random free songs on the channel.
Here is a chilled song to relax yourself on to. Just thought we could take it cool on this grey Sunday. Yesterday I was invited by a producer to do some wake surf on his boat so Im just worn out today. Oh and its funny because my friend actually had an iPhone and weve played the electro and trip-hop playlists of The BBC Music and it fits perfectly to do some surf! Weve been talking with a guitar player to build up the detailed video courses on The BBC Music website so it was pretty exciting.
Enough talking for the news of The BBC Music. The song As time goes by is meant to be about time just passing by... Whilst people waste their lives away, not doing something that they love.
MYK. is a 17 year old pianist who has only been producing for about 6 months and is studying music at college. Basically the artist name MYK. just come from the nickname of Michael Hodgson. This talented guy resides in Manchester, Britain and play all of his music on his midi keyboard. Theres no samples used in his songs : MYK. does everything himself. He obviously uses a lot of piano and strings in his song. MYK. do this because he enjoy writing music for films and piano and strings are frequently used in that particular area of music. As youve probably already noticed, MYK. puts also a lot of emotions in his songs
He also used to be interested in Progressive Rock, bands such as Yes & Emerson Lake & Palmer and eventually this encouraged him to be in a band. However, as MYK. got older he started to listen to more electronic music and liked it. This is when he got started in his solo career, ending up producing drum and bass and other various genres. Current influences are Netsky, James Blake, Deep Focus, Phaeleh, Nu:Tone and High Contrast.
He uses the software Logic Pro 9 on a tidy Macbook Pro with a RD-700GX midi keyboard and a microphone to work on his sounds. He definitely create with this gear some of the most beautiful liquid pieces Ive come across. Using his talented pianist skills to build up floaty ambiance that puts you in a mood hanging between liveliness and quietness, MYK. makes yourself feel closer to paradise. With productions ranging from Drum and Bass to Orchestral Chilled song and Film Scores, you can take for granted that everything coming out of MYK.s head is a beauty.
He have a forthcoming EP with Tyrer (have a listen to their collab, when these two works together, theres magic in the air) named Radiator Games in 2011 so you might want to follow his SounCloud!

Here we go with the succedent part of the EP Healing with sound from Brujos Bowl. The beautiful song Gyananakashu is the second track out of four that I will be uploading (1 per day so all the EP will be available the 24).
The project Brujos Bowl is the alias of Saxon Higgs, a young talented musician and producer from mid Wales (UK). Saxon started out by playing about with various instruments when he was a teenager, playing in bands and organizing jam sessions in the depths of the wild welsh countryside. On the verge of leaving secondary school, Saxon and a few of his friends became interested in electronic music. This was when dubstep had just hit the dancefloors, and still had its unique non-commercial sound. Producers such as 2562 had a large impact on Saxons ears.
In 2008 at the age of 17. Saxon began self teaching himself how to use various pieces of music production software. By reading and watching various tutorials. He began playing a few of his tracks out at club nights which he represented, and began receiving some encouraging
feedback. After going to a few psy-festivals in 2009-2010. Saxons musical perception was turned sideways forever. He changed course, and began working on the project Brujos Bowl. The Brujos work and live sets now consist of creaking psychedelic sound effects, beautifully flowing soundscape design, deep and intricate bass lines, tribal influenced beats and an overall dubbed up fusion of Dubstep, Psygressive, Minimal and Dub. With a nice dose of the zenon vibe.
After releasing a few free eps via various labels such as Glitchy.tonic and Arkona creation in 2011. The Brujo Released his third ep Minimaliptus fruits
soon after, on Distant tremor records. And now he looks forward to being part of the ever expanding family of the Zenon collective.

What a freaking dirty remix of that CB song! Dr.Ozi are two guys, Nix Chohan & Christian Boyd, from Ontario, Canada. In the heart of Toronto, Dr.Ozi has entranced their listeners with mesmerizing and speaker shaking beats. Producers Nix Chohan and Christian Boyd met in high school, where they discussed their passions for music. They both produced with more basic programs on underground sites, which combined musical talent to create their sound and gain their fan-base. After getting on their feet in the music business through producing with bands and different genres of music, Nix took the time to start producing dubstep and electro music more seriously. With the help of Christian they started working with sound designing and different programs to form their own dubstep that would turn heads and get themselves known. The name Dr.Ozi comes from a character that was created by the two as a mascot which has served beneficial for their music and has gotten their red crosses known while they play. They have gradually evolved over the years, so using the experience they have gained, they have created a new sound that is appealing to their listeners.

House / Techno DJ, Turntablist and producer Katchmo, Jay Maces artist name, is an avid music enthusiast and has been interested in sound from a very early age. He first started his music studies by learning guitar at age 9 and progressed to pass grade level 6 guitar studies whilst at high school.
He has now turned all of his time, focus and energy towards mixing and producing in various styles and genres of dance music. Katchmo has always been captivated by the underground sound that is totally fresh, raw and commercially untouched. You can clearly hear this within his mixes and productions, with inspiration from djs like Sasha, john digweed, sander-kleinenberg and techno gurus adam beyer, dave clarke and carl cox, he will be found compiling his sets with rolling beats and flowing sounds. He bought his first set of turntables at age 20 and has never looked back, playing at various clubs and nights such as Subtone, Dakota, thirteen, Blush, Qbars, Coco Lush and Bar Viva Ibiza. Playing for nights under the names of Audio Hussy, Hustle Up, Subtone showcase, Bloom and Rokit. He has played alongside the likes of Utah Saints, TheWideboys, Solano, Siytek, NGE, Senz, Cool Cut C, Adjected Deleted, Kid Afro, Rezonate and Robinson just to name a few.
