Two days of inactivity isn't a lot, but it matters to me to show you I'm here and I care about you. I really do my best to keep the rhythm of one upload per day, but I hope you understand that it takes a lot of time to do the kind of work I'm doing. I'm not just throwing random free songs on the channel.

Here is a chilled song to relax yourself on to. Just thought we could take it cool on this grey Sunday. Yesterday I was invited by a producer to do some wake surf on his boat so I'm just worn out today. Oh and it's funny because my friend actually had an iPhone and we've played the electro and trip-hop playlists of The BBC Music and it fits perfectly to do some surf! We've been talking with a guitar player to build up the detailed video courses on The BBC Music website so it was pretty exciting.

Enough talking for the news of The BBC Music. The song "As time goes by" is meant to be about time just passing by... Whilst people waste their lives away, not doing something that they love.

MYK. is a 17 year old pianist who has only been producing for about 6 months and is studying music at college. Basically the artist name MYK. just come from the nickname of Michael Hodgson. This talented guy resides in Manchester, Britain and play all of his music on his midi keyboard. There's no samples used in his songs : MYK. does everything himself. He obviously uses a lot of piano and strings in his song. MYK. do this because he enjoy writing music for films and piano and strings are frequently used in that particular area of music. As you've probably already noticed, MYK. puts also a lot of emotions in his songs

He also used to be interested in Progressive Rock, bands such as Yes & Emerson Lake & Palmer and eventually this encouraged him to be in a band. However, as MYK. got older he started to listen to more electronic music and liked it. This is when he got started in his solo career, ending up producing drum and bass and other various genre's. Current influences are Netsky, James Blake, Deep Focus, Phaeleh, Nu:Tone and High Contrast.

He uses the software Logic Pro 9 on a tidy Macbook Pro with a RD-700GX midi keyboard and a microphone to work on his sounds. He definitely create with this gear some of the most beautiful liquid pieces I've come across. Using his talented pianist skills to build up floaty ambiance that puts you in a mood hanging between liveliness and quietness, MYK. makes yourself feel closer to paradise. With productions ranging from Drum and Bass to Orchestral Chilled song and Film Scores, you can take for granted that everything coming out of MYK.'s head is a beauty.

He have a forthcoming EP with Tyrer (have a listen to their collab, when these two works together, there's magic in the air) named 'Radiator Games' in 2011 so you might want to follow his SounCloud!
