Exploring Abandoned Mines and Unusual Places | Dead Ends and Duds: A Disappointing Day Detecting Abandoned Mines @AbandonedMines11 | Uploaded October 2024 | Updated October 2024, 13 minutes ago.
Some abandoned mines turn out to be complete duds for one reason or another. This video highlights four such occurrences I had one morning while climbing all over a mountain in Nevada in search of abandoned mines. Some of the mines were simply just too dangerous to enter while others were completely eroded shut. Believe it or not, one of the mines was only about 25 feet deep! The bottom line is we explorers never know what we’re going to find when we make our way to an abandoned mine. All we can be certain of is that it will definitely be an adventure one way or another!
